About Me
My name is Alexander J. Taylor, but my friends call me Alex. I am an early career communications professional based in Florida.
My interpersonal skills have been shaped by multiple service jobs, starting at age 16 at Burger King. After high school, I began work at Chartwells @ FAU, becoming a head cashier for the Pollo Tropical store. After 2 years at Chartwells, I journeyed to Starbucks to be a Barista, where I have been connecting with customers ever since.
The Beginning
Growing up, my life was a mix of sports and literature. I grew up watching the Atlanta Falcons and branched out to the Atlanta Hawks & Toronto Maple Leafs in my teens. My mother, an NYU grad turned educator, introduced me to a love of literature. It was to a point where I got in trouble in grade school for reading on my Kindle.
Because of my ties to athletics and art, I have a strong passion for the human spirit.
Sports and books taught me that everybody can be the leader of their own story.
